What an incredible morning this past Saturday! Ms. Tionne Rhodes, Director of Middle and High School for Taliaferro County School, presented a community workshop open to youth in grades 3rd through 8th. Based on her book, “Ella’s Big Match”, Ms. Rhodes was able to talk to the youth about how to feel confident in their abilities. Youth learned creative techniques to build confidence through interactive role-play, engaged in real-world scenarios to foster respect and kindness. They reflected on our strengths and values and created vision boards to envision our dreams and future goals. At the end of the day, every participant received a certificate of completion recognizing their wonderful efforts!
