Our Georgia Family Connection Collaborative serves as the local decision-making body, bringing community partners together to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address the serious challenges facing our children and families.
We envision a Taliaferro County where every child, family, and community is healthy and thriving.
Our Mission
Taliaferro County Family Connection, Inc. works alongside children, families, and communities to craft local solutions that maximize resources and make systems more effective and efficient.
Our Focus
We work toward measurably better outcomes across five key result areas:
In Taliaferro County, we’re focused on Children Succeeding in School and Stable, Self-Sufficient, and Productive Families. This work is fueled by KidsCount data (Data | Taliaferro County ).
Our Impact
We equip local service agencies and organizations ( Resources | Taliaferro County ) with the tools and methods they need to be more effective, helping them develop and work together on integrated strategies to improve child, family, and community well-being.
We cultivate collaboration, bringing partners together to the same table monthly. Our shared focus reduces duplication of efforts and allows everyone to do more with the resources available in our county.
If a need isn’t being met in our community, we fill that gap by functioning as an incubator for direct services to families and children.
We also respond to urgent situations by maintaining strong relationships and the infrastructure necessary to deliver timely support.
