Our Taliaferro County Family Connection Collaborative Partner Appreciation Dinner on June 2 was a wonderful evening shared by all in attendance. The evening began with an amazing presentation by our youth in the Resilient Teens program. Kendall Smith, Jack Eubanks and Leonardo Cervantes spoke about their time in the program and what they have gained from it. Following the presentation those in attendance enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Mrs. Perla Cervantes.
After dinner we began to honor our partners that have been with Family Connection since the beginning in Taliaferro County in 1999. Those being recognized were Taliaferro County School District , Taliaferro County Health Department, Taliaferro County DFCS, Taliaferro County Probate Office and Taliaferro County Board of Commissioners. We then honored our Board members that have been with Taliaferro Family Connection since 1999, Ms. Ruby Randolph and Mrs. Valeria Bowman.
The evening could not be complete without the honoring of our Volunteer of the Year and our Partner of the Year. Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Year, Mrs. Paula Atchison. Congratulations to our Partner of the Year, City of Crawfordville.
